Martin commented:
“I am so proud and delighted to be launching such a new and unique weekend event under the Achieve name in my home City of Bath. When I took part in ITV’s I’m A Celebrity last year, something changed, not only in my mind-set, but also physically. My time in the jungle forced a break from my everyday commitments and gave me time to reflect on my diet and fitness. In just under three weeks I lost two stone and my lifelong asthma diminished. Since returning home I have continued with this focus and feel much healthier and happier, and have embarked upon a personal journey of discovery to further my own achievements in health, wealth and happiness. A big part of my personal happiness comes from helping and inspiring others which is why I am launching the Achieve Expo.”
Sir Ranulph Fiennes added:
“I am delighted to be invited to speak at the first Achieve expo and hope to motivate and show that personal goals can be achieved if you believe in yourself.”
Ruby Wax OBE also gave a message of support:
“I’m really excited to talk at the Achieve Expo about Frazzled.”
Achieve, sponsored by Legacy Education Alliance, Making Money from Property by Martin Roberts and Panasonic, will comprise two days of inspiring and interactive talks from top celebrities and leading experts from the fields of nutrition, healthy eating, wealth creation, fitness, mindfulness and motivation. An on-site Achieve exhibition area will also showcase over 50 leading brands offering demonstrations and advice across a wide range of innovative products and services. Making small, complementary changes in our increasingly busy lives can lead to big changes and this is a key objective for Achieve.
Register for a limited ‘Early Bird’ offer of FREE entry to the Achieve Expo until 01.09.17. A registration fee applies thereafter.
Martin’s impressive speakers will each deliver a series of 45-minute paid-for talks (from JUST £10 to £20 per ticket), to share insights into their own personal journey of achievement across health, wealth and happiness. Tickets for these events must be purchased in advance via www.achieve.co.uk or by telephoning 0844 844 4620 (charged at 7p per minute plus network provider charges).
An exclusive VIP Gala Dinner will take place on Saturday night, 14th October 2017, starting with a drinks reception around the historic Roman Baths, which is being hosted and sponsored by the Chairman of Bath & North-East Somerset Council. A bespoke menu has kindly been created by Dale Pinnock – The Medicinal Chef. Martin Roberts’ chosen charity partners for Achieve 2017 are The Forever Friends Appeal (www.foreverfriendsappeal.co.uk) and Bath Mind (http://www.bathmind.org.uk). Both charities will benefit from the proceeds raised at the Gala Dinner. For tickets please email emma@achieve.co.uk
Richard Gyde, Deputy Head of Fundraising, The Forever Friends Appeal, said:
“The Forever Friends Appeal is thrilled to be supported by Achieve at such a wonderful event. Money raised from the charity auction at the Gala Dinner will make a real difference to the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients cared for by the Royal United Hospitals each year. Support such as Achieve’s makes it possible for us to help pay for additional equipment, research and innovations, as well as finishing touches and ‘extras’ that complement the existing high quality care at the Hospitals.”
Kate Morton, Chief Executive of Bath Mind, added:-
“Bath Mind are delighted to be chosen as a beneficiary. We are a local charity for local people. The money raised will have huge impact on improving the lives of people experiencing mental health issues, by providing essential support and advice to those suffering in silence and their families.”
Martin is expecting over 5,000 people to attend from the local Bath area and across the region, as well as nationally and internationally. Achieve will appeal to an audience of all ages and will bring Bath to life in Autumn 2017.
