US Airways flights move from Terminal A to Terminal C at Kansas City International Airport

Kansas City, MO, US, 2014-1-6 — /travelprnews.com/ — The Kansas City Aviation Department reports that on the evening of Wednesday, January 8, US Airways flights will begin moving from Terminal A to Terminal C at Kansas City International Airport. As a result, there will be a brief period on January 8 that the airline will be operating within the two terminals at the same time (see schedule below). Travelers are strongly urged to check with US Airways (usairways.com) or KCI (flykci.com) for up to date gate information before arriving at the airport. By January 9, all US Airways flights will be wholly operational in Terminal C. After US Airways moves, Terminal A will be closed to the public.

Flying out before the move?
US Airways customers who depart from Terminal A prior to the move, but then return on January 8 (or a later date), should be aware that they may return via Terminal C. If these travelers have parked in Garage A or in Circle Parking near Terminal A, they should use the free Red Bus to get back to their vehicles from Terminal C. Economy Parking Lot users should use the transfer station within the Economy Lot.
