Gaborone, Botswana, 2012-10-12 — /travelprnews.com/ — Travelport, the business services provider to the global travel industry, has announced the signing of a new global full content agreement with Air Botswana, the national carrier of Botswana.
Effective immediately, the new multi-year agreement provides all of Travelport’s Galileo, Worldspan and Apollo-connected travel agents worldwide with access to the carrier’s full range of published fares and inventory.
Air Botswana boasts a modern fleet and serves an extensive network in Southern Africa from their hub in Gaborone. Domestic destinations include Kasane, Maun, Francistown, and their regional network extends to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Harare, and Lusaka, to name a few. “We pride ourselves on the relationship we hold with the trade and this agreement validates our commitment in making our inventory and all fares available through the Travelport platforms,” said Joseph Motse, commercial director and acting general manager for Air Botswana.
