Toronto Returns to Finnair’s Network as Tri-Weekly Route Resumes Next Summer

(IN SHORT) Finnair will relaunch its Helsinki–Toronto service on 4 May 2026, operating Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays, marking its return to the Canadian market after an 11-year break. Christine Rovelli, Chief Revenue Officer, highlighted Toronto’s appeal and the enhanced connectivity this route brings for European travellers exploring Canada. Toronto’s multicultural vibrancy and proximity to Niagara Falls make it an attractive dual-purpose destination. The new Toronto flights join Finnair’s existing North American summer network, which includes New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle. Finnair continues to specialize in intercontinental connections, provides year-round flights to Lapland, and holds a record 14 Skytrax awards for Best Airline in Northern Europe.
