BRUSSELS, Belgium / MILAN, Italy, 2014-2-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — The Rezidor Hotel Group and the Italian fashion house Missoni have mutually agreed to terminate the worldwide Master Licence Agreement for the development and operation of the brand Hotel Missoni, effective 31st December 2013. The existing properties Hotel Missoni Edinburgh and Hotel Missoni Kuwait will cease to operate under the marks of Hotel Missoni latest by 30th June 2014. “The Hotel Missoni adventure in partnership with Rezidor Group has been a positive and important experience for us. After years of collaboration, today our paths are splitting with Missoni having developed new strategic visions in the field of interior design and hospitality” said Alberto Piantoni, CEO of Missoni. “This decision is in line with our long-term strategy and focus on our core brands Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson. It is equally aligned with the redefinition of Carlson Rezidor’s global brand portfolio.
