(NEWS) QUEENSLAND, 2025-Aug-27 — /Travel PR News/ — TFE Hotels has confirmed the opening of the Adina Chermside Brisbane, a 148-room apartment-style hotel set to welcome guests in February 2026. Positioned as the largest hotel development in Brisbane’s fast-growing northern corridor, the property will expand the group’s Adina portfolio in Queensland from two to three locations. The project represents a strategic milestone for TFE Hotels, combining sustainable design with community-focused hospitality in a suburb undergoing rapid transformation.
Developed by Limitless Developments and led by Brisbane-based developer Nick Barr, the Adina Chermside Brisbane has already topped out, with construction now moving into the interior fit-out stage. Barr, who has delivered more than $150 million worth of projects across Queensland, described the development as a flagship addition to Chermside, meeting rising demand for corporate, leisure, and health-based accommodation. TFE Hotels’ Group Chief Operating Officer, Chris Sedgwick, noted that the property’s opening comes at a crucial time as Brisbane prepares for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, while also supporting the growing Prince Charles Hospital precinct, which is set for a $300 million expansion.
Designed by WMK Architecture, the hotel adopts Brisbane’s “Buildings that Breathe” principles, emphasizing sustainability and environmental performance. Features include natural ventilation, high-performance glazing, water-efficient systems, landscaped green zones, and façade greenery to reduce heat load and boost biodiversity. Guest facilities will cater to both short and extended stays with a lobby lounge, café/bar, conference space, gym, and onsite parking.
Chermside’s reputation as a major hub is reinforced by its proximity to Westfield Chermside, one of Australia’s largest shopping centres, and a network of parklands and bikeways around Downfall Creek. With strong transport links and access to retail, medical, and research services, the Adina Chermside Brisbane is positioned to serve a diverse mix of hospital visitors, business travellers, and tourists.
Part of a global network of 44 Adina Apartment Hotels, the Chermside property strengthens TFE Hotels’ suburban and health-adjacent growth strategy while showcasing its Australian-born hospitality brand on the international stage. The project aligns with both companies’ long-term vision for Brisbane’s evolving cityscape and the decade of opportunities leading up to the 2032 Games.
