Skytrax: Hainan Airlines is Certified as a 5-Star Airline at ceremony in Beijing

London, UK, 2013-04-29— /travelprnews.com/ — Hainan Airlines has received the 5-Star Airline certification for the third consecutive year at a press conference held in Beijing on Monday 22nd April 2013.

The Chairman of Hainan Airlines , Mr Chen Ming also launched the airline’s new tagline of “Cherished Experience “. This also coincides with the occasion of Hainan Airlines 20th anniversary.

“From the service spirit expressed in our first tagline ‘We Are at Your Service’ in our early days, to the service concept of ‘New Image’, the Customer Is First has always and consistently been the essence and the model of Hainan Airlines service mantra. Our goal is to build Hainan Airlines into an international brand as the ‘Beauty of the Orient’,” added Hainan Airlines chairman Mr Chen Ming.

Edward Plaisted of Skytrax said: “I personally want to congratulate Hainan Airlines on this great achievement for not only maintaining 5-Star Airline standards, but the continuing pursuit of excellence within the airline to improve standards even further. 5-Star Airline ranking is a very exclusive and distinctive reward, and Hainan Airlines are 1 of just seven airlines a cross the world to receive 5-Star Airline status. This 5-Star Award is a great tribute to the hard work of the management at Hainan Airlines, but in particular for all the staff at Hainan Airlines who have worked hard to maintain the 5-Star Airline status so well in the past year.”

Hainan Airlines first received the 5-Star Airline certification in 2011 and 2012. Since then, Hainan Airlines has launched a wide range of new onboard services. In two extensive evaluations in November 2012 and March 2013, Hainan Airlines’ services won wide applause from the jury, and was finally honored the award for the third time.
