Shuttle service to operate between airport and Indianapolis Motor Speedway during Brickyard 400

INDIANAPOLIS, 2012-07-27 — /travelprnews.com/ — Brickyard 400 fans will have a convenient and comfortable way to travel between the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Race Day, Sunday, July 29. Air-conditioned shuttle service will begin continuous departures at 8 a.m. through the start of the race at 1 p.m. Return service from the Motor Speedway to IND will continue for three hours after the race’s end. Shuttles will be available for early returns as well.

Shuttle passengers who park at the airport garage can obtain a reduced, $10 rate when parking. Only cash can be accepted.

From the airport, shuttles will depart from the ground transportation lobby in Zone 1. Returning shuttles will depart from the main east gate parking lot on the southeast corner of 16th Street and Polco Street.

The shuttles will be provided by the Sodrel Companies – The Free Enterprise System and Star of America Motor Coach Companies – in partnership with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Tickets, which cover roundtrip transportation, are $25 per person and can be purchased at the Star of America booth on Race Day from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the airport’s Ground Transportation Center.
