NASHVILLE, Tenn., 2017-Jul-18 — /Travel PR News/ — Despite the extreme summer temperatures, preparations are well underway at the four Gaylord Hotels resorts for their over-the-top annual Christmas celebration.
Officials at the hotel brand announced today (07/14/2017) that packages and tickets for Christmas at Gaylord Hotels, presented by FUJIFILM INSTAX®, are now on sale at www.ChristmasAtGaylordHotels.com.
From mid-November to early January, each Gaylord Hotels resort offers millions of holiday lights, over-the-top decorations and Christmas trees, amazing live entertainment, and one-of-a-kind attractions for both the young and the young at heart.
“Each year we strive to provide top-notch holiday entertainment, and this year is no exception with the introduction of extraordinary new events while bringing back the best of our best,” said Mike Stengel, senior vice president of Gaylord Hotels. “Gaylord Hotels has always been known for helping families create lasting memories together, and this holiday season we’re excited to bring classic Christmas stories to life in more than 8 million pounds of ice sculptures and multi-story slides at our signature ICE! attraction.”
Hand-carved by master ice artisans from Harbin, China, the ICE! experience is kept at nine degrees Fahrenheit, and themes vary by location. Presented by Pepsi, ICE! will feature Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at Gaylord National; A Charlie Brown Christmas by Charles Schulz at Gaylord Opryland; Christmas Around the World at Gaylord Palms; and ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas at
Gaylord Texan.
The merriment continues throughout the resorts with entertainment and events ranging from enchanting live shows, visits and photos with Santa, holiday kids’ trains and character breakfasts to adventurous attractions like snow tubing, ice skating and more.
Returning in 2017 is an exclusive Build-A-Bear Workshop® experience that lets guests make their very own furry winter friend—Snowburst, a cuddly, cute polar bear plush designed for Gaylord Hotels that can be personalized with cozy winter clothing and accessories. New to all four resorts will be the Build-A-Bear Workshop® Scavenger Hunt where families will venture into the resorts to track down Snowburst and his bear buddies (each with a specific holiday talent), all of whom Santa has recruited to ensure the resorts are festively decorated with holiday cheer!
At the Gingerbread Decorating Corner presented by Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas, guests can choose a delectable gingerbread kit and decorate to their hearts’ content before visiting with a life-sized gingerbread man for heartwarming hugs and photo opportunities.
