The finalists and winners of the 8th annual CFO of the Year Awards were recently announced at a luncheon and awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

The CFO of the Year Awards honor finance professionals in the Los Angeles region for their ongoing efforts as outstanding financial stewards. Foltz has served as Oakwood Worldwide’s CFO since 2009. Some of his proudest career accomplishments have taken place at the company and include sourcing and negotiating the acquisition of ExecuStay from Marriott International, further establishing the company’s global presence through the $4 billion joint venture with Mapletree Group, and expanding Oakwood Worldwide’s international business by overseeing the operations of Oakwood Asia Pacific.

Earlier in his career, Foltz was a manager at Ernst & Young. Foltz is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Southern California.
