(NEWS) BANGKOK, Thailand, 2026-Jun-17 — /Travel PR News/ — Northern Thailand is increasingly being positioned as a destination for travellers who want more than a single resort stay, combining culture, nature, wellness and soft adventure into one connected itinerary.
Anantara is highlighting that approach with Northern Delights, a four-night journey linking Anantara Chiang Mai Resort and Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort. According to a press release published by Minor Hotels, the package combines two nights in Chiang Mai with two nights in the Golden Triangle, allowing guests to experience two distinct sides of Northern Thailand in one seamless trip.
The itinerary begins, or can end, in Chiang Mai, where Anantara Chiang Mai Resort offers a riverside base along the Mae Ping River. Guests can explore the city’s Lanna heritage, culinary traditions, art and craft experiences, and relaxed urban atmosphere while staying close to the cultural centre of northern Thailand.
The journey then continues to Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort, located above the meeting point of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. The resort offers a more nature-focused experience, with elephant encounters, jungle landscapes, Mekong views and visits to the Hall of Opium Museum among the available activities.
The Northern Delights package includes daily breakfast, afternoon tea for two in Chiang Mai, art and craft workshops, and a two-night all-inclusive Discovery stay at the Golden Triangle resort. Guests can choose from experiences such as Spice Spoons cooking classes, spa rituals, private yoga or Pilates sessions, elephant-focused activities and cultural excursions.
The package also includes airport and inter-resort transfers, supporting a more convenient multi-destination journey through Northern Thailand. Travellers can begin at either property, with a minimum four-night stay required.
The offer follows recent recognition for both Anantara Chiang Mai Resort and Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort at the Tatler Thailand Spotlight Awards 2026, further strengthening their positioning within Thailand’s luxury travel landscape.
For Anantara, the itinerary reflects a broader trend in high-end travel, where guests are increasingly looking for curated journeys that connect multiple destinations through culture, nature and meaningful experiences rather than staying in one location alone.
