(PRESS RELEASE) MONTREAL, 2025-Jul-10 — /Travel PR News/ — Air Canada is enhancing its Winter 2025–26 schedule with four weekly non-stop flights to Lima, Peru—two each from Montreal and Toronto—and launching three new routes to Central America and Mexico. Service between Montreal–Lima (AC 88/89) and Toronto–Lima (AC 86/87) resumes December 5/6, reducing travel time to just over eight hours. New seasonal routes include Montreal–Belize (AC 1876/77) beginning December 8; Toronto–Puerto Escondido* (AC 1895/94) and Vancouver–Tepic, Riviera Nayarit* (AC 1350/51) both launching December 17, subject to Mexican government approval. Flights are now on sale at aircanada.com, Air Canada Contact Centres, and through travel agents.

These additions align with Air Canada’s New Frontiers Strategy to capitalize on strong leisure demand across Latin America and Mexico’s emerging beach destinations, while providing seamless connections for Canadians and Europeans and tapping cargo opportunities. “From Peru’s ancient wonders to Belize’s Barrier Reef and Mexico’s surf havens, we’re proud to bring these vibrant destinations within reach of our customers,” said Mark Galardo, EVP & Chief Commercial Officer and President, Cargo. With over 80,000 weekly seats to 52 sun destinations, this winter marks Air Canada’s largest Latin America and Caribbean network ever.
