Building upon years of resort experience, Oostenbrink rises from the position of Resort Manager to lead the luxury Seychelles resort
Seychelles, 2018-Oct-05 — /Travel PR News/ — Following his two year tenure as the Resort Manager of Four Seasons Resort Seychelles, Marcel Oostenbrink has been promoted to General Manager of the luxury resort on Mahé Island.
As General Manager, Oostenbrink is responsible for ensuring the Resort’s continued success, overseeing the daily management of the Resort’s 67 luxurious tree-house style villas, 27 Private Residences, three restaurants, two bars, an award winning hilltop Spa and more than 450 full time employees.
Oostenbrink’s career so far has taken him across many different countries – in senior leadership positions in the United Arab Emirates, then to Vietnam to lead a property in its transition period between two general managers. He then joined the family at Four Seasons in 2014 as Resort Manager in Sharm El Sheikh before moving to Seychelles as Resort Manager in 2016.
Oostenbrink is also no stranger to island life, having returned to Seychelles two years ago after a tenure at Banyan Tree Resort on Mahé island, bringing to the role a wealth of destination knowledge, experience and leadership skills that will drive the team and the Resort in their continued success. During his time at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles, the Resort has been honoured with several accolades including the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence and the hilltop Spa being named Resort Spa of the Year, Middle East and Africa by the World Spa and Wellness Awards for two consecutive years.
