ACPV ARCHITECTS leads the design, blending Tang Dynasty motifs with contemporary elegance. Developed by Xi’an Wolong Real Estate with Qujiang Government support, the project underscores Mandarin Oriental’s strategy to expand into iconic leisure markets and deliver immersive cultural experiences.

Situated in the ancient heart of the former dynastic capital—home to the Terracotta Warriors—the development promises a harmonious fusion of Tang Dynasty–inspired design and contemporary luxury, spotlighting wellness, cultural storytelling, and elevated tranquility.

Set on a vast landscaped estate beside a new public park, the resort features 166 guest rooms and suites—each with private terraces, panoramic views, and natural hot-spring experiences—alongside seven standalone villas with their own pools and terraces. Guests will enjoy five distinctive restaurants, a 1,200 m² ballroom with outdoor terraces, indoor and outdoor children’s facilities, a culture gallery, library, boutique, and entertainment venues.

The centerpiece, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, will offer signature treatments in immersive hot-spring pavilions, complemented by a 50-metre indoor-outdoor infinity pool, children’s pool, and bespoke wellness rituals. ACPV ARCHITECTS—renowned for their work on Mandarin Oriental Bodrum and Milan—leads the hotel’s understated, nature-driven architecture and interiors, reflecting Xi’an’s seasonal and cultural tapestry.
