Held from April 23 to 25, KITF remains one of Central Asia’s premier tourism trade events. MMPRC, under the “Sunny Side of Life” brand, used this platform to promote the Maldives as a top-tier year-round destination. Exhibitors included AAA Hotels and Resorts, Reollo Travel, Inner Maldives Holidays, and The Standard Huruvalhi Maldives, among others—each showcasing the Maldives’ distinctive blend of personalized service and serene beauty.
The Maldives stand featured captivating displays and immersive visuals highlighting its pristine nature, world-class hospitality, and sustainability-driven tourism experiences. Designed to engage visitors and travel professionals alike, the booth reinforced the country’s commitment to remaining top-of-mind in the Central Asian market.
In 2024, over 27,500 travelers from Central Asia visited the Maldives, and early 2025 numbers show 3,138 arrivals by March—strong indicators of continued interest. To build on this momentum, MMPRC will also roll out a joint marketing campaign with PAC Group later this year.
