KLIA, Malaysia , 2021-Nov-25 — /Travel PR News/ — Enrich, the Travel and Lifestyle loyalty programme of Malaysia Airlines, is thrilled to announce further extension of Enrich Points validity to 31 December 2022, coupled with a generous extension of all Elite status for another year until March 2023, allowing its members more flexibility to enjoy their Elite Tier benefits. The changes are applicable for members who have not requalified for their current status this year.
These bold steps position Enrich as one of the leading loyalty programs in the world to provide such flexibility to its members, having had extended the validity of its Points several times since the onset of the pandemic, for a cumulative 33 months, from March 2020 through to December 2022. It is also timely as members are gearing up to travel again following the reopening of domestic travel, for them to continue to enjoy their tier benefits as the recovery is currently in full swing. Malaysia Airlines has also recently opened up flights under the Malaysia-Singapore ‘Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL)’ to facilitate the seamless travels between both countries.
Meanwhile, members holding Golden Lounge access vouchers expiring through to November 2022 will now be able to use them for their upcoming travels until 31 December 2022. Malaysia Airlines has also recently opened its Domestic Golden Lounge in Kuala Lumpur International Airport following steady growth in passenger volume.
On top of the generous extensions of Points validity and Tier status, Enrich is making it easier for members to retain or fast-track their status, with 30% reduction in tier qualification for the year 2022. To retain or upgrade to Platinum status require 70 Elite Points, Gold status require 42 Elite Points and Silver status require 21 Elite Points respectively.
To illustrate, from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022, Enrich Gold members only need to earn 42 Elite Points to requalify as Gold status or 70 Elite Points to be upgraded to Platinum status for calendar year 2023.
