KLM Reintroduces Bridgetown and Georgetown Flights for Winter 2025 Season

(IN SHORT) KLM is resuming its seasonal service to Bridgetown, Barbados, and Georgetown, Guyana, for winter 2025, operating three weekly flights from October 26, 2025, through March 26, 2026. The route offers sunny escapes and regional business access with a brief stop in Barbados before continuing to Guyana. Flights will be operated by KLM’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, offering three cabin classes. The reintroduction of this route reflects growing interest in Caribbean and South American destinations, particularly during the colder European months.

(PRESS RELEASE) HAARLEMMERMEER, Netherlands, 2025-Apr-24 — /Travel PR News/ — KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is heading back to the Caribbean sunshine with the return of its Bridgetown (Barbados) and Georgetown (Guyana) route for the winter 2025 season. From October 26, 2025, through March 26, 2026, travelers can once again enjoy convenient three-times-weekly service to these tropical destinations aboard KLM’s modern Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

The seasonal route reconnects Amsterdam with one of the Caribbean’s most picturesque and culturally rich destinations—Bridgetown—before continuing on to the vibrant capital of Guyana, Georgetown. KLM previously offered this combination in the 2021 and 2022 winter seasons, and its return reflects rising demand for leisure and business travel to this part of the world.

Barbados remains one of the largest untapped Caribbean markets from the Netherlands. Famed for its palm-fringed beaches, lively culture, and warm climate, Bridgetown provides the perfect escape during the colder European months. Georgetown, a fast-growing hub in northern South America, adds further value for business travelers and regional connectivity.

Flight Details: KLM flight KL783 will depart Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 09:35. It lands in Bridgetown (BGI) at 13:35 local time and departs at 15:05 to Georgetown (GEO), arriving at 16:40. The return leg leaves Georgetown at 18:00 and touches down in Amsterdam at 08:00 the next morning.

Passengers can enjoy a premium flying experience onboard the Boeing 787-9, featuring 30 World Business Class seats, 21 in Premium Comfort, and 224 in Economy.

With this dual-destination service, KLM continues to expand its reach across the Caribbean and South America, combining sun-soaked appeal with strategic regional access.
