Additionally, a comprehensive Winter Sun programme is set to offer even more travel options for the upcoming season.

Today’s event celebrated the debut of this exciting offering with a festive atmosphere that included a red-carpet check-in, personalized gifts for guests, live music from a Spanish guitarist, and surprise flight vouchers. One fortunate passenger even won a seven-night holiday package to Turkey as part of the inaugural celebrations.
The new service opens up a world of sunny destinations, providing direct access to 17 attractive locales across the Canary and Balearic Islands, Mainland Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Italy, and Madeira. Operating from Luton with two state-of-the-art Airbus A321neo aircraft, the programme promises up to 36 flights each week during peak periods, offering a total of over 430,000 seats. Notably, the service introduces two exclusive routes—one to Girona and another to Verona—available only from London Luton, adding unique appeal to the airport’s network.
In response to a tremendous early demand, Jet2 and Jet2holidays have also unveiled plans for an extensive Winter Sun programme for the 2025/26 season. This initiative will feature eight destinations, including popular spots in the Canary Islands, Alicante in Spain, Antalya in Turkey, and Faro and Madeira in Portugal. The winter schedule will provide more than 140,000 seats and up to 19 flights per week at the height of the season.
This strategic expansion by Jet2 is set to boost employment in the region, creating over 125 new jobs across roles ranging from flight deck and cabin crew to engineering and ground operations.
