(IN SHORT) IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the debut of its Vignette Collection brand in Egypt, following a management agreement with Maxim Hotels and Resorts Management. Set to open in December 2027, the Vignette Collection Hotel Royal Maxim Port Said will merge historical charm with modern luxury, featuring 140 rooms split between two sections. One part will be housed in a restored heritage building with views of the Suez Canal, while the other will be a newly built beachfront property. This signing strengthens IHG’s presence in the luxury and lifestyle segment in the MENA region, offering unique experiences tailored to leisure and business travelers alike. Scheduled to open in December 2027, the Vignette Collection Hotel Royal Maxim Port Said will seamlessly combine historical charm with contemporary luxury, offering a unique guest experience.

The new hotel will feature 140 rooms across two distinct sections. One section will be housed in a beautifully restored heritage building, formerly used by the Suez Canal Authorities, offering stunning views of the canal.
