(PRESS RELEASE) SHANGHAI, 2025-Jul-21 — /Travel PR News/ — Celebrating five decades in Greater China, IHG Hotels & Resorts and Hainan Airlines have elevated their alliance with the new “Where Dreams Bloom, Journey to the Oasis” initiative. This collaboration introduces immersive travel experiences—from an artfully designed airport retreat to bespoke in‑flight dining—underscoring both brands’ dedication to seamless, culture‑infused journeys.

IHG and Hainan Airlines co-branded lounge
At Shanghai Pudong International Airport’s Terminal 2, travelers can now unwind in a co‑branded “Garden Oasis” lounge, a serene haven blending IHG’s refined décor with Hainan Airlines’ signature Dream Feather motifs. Guests enjoy live culinary stations, a curated buffet, intimate dining nooks, and relaxation zones. Diamond Elite members of IHG One Rewards receive priority access and exclusive perks.
The partnership continued aloft on the specially liveried “IHG Explorer” aircraft bound for Sanya. Passengers were treated to two distinct business‑class menus:
- “Flavours of Suzhou and Hainan”—a harmonious fusion of Cantonese elegance, Huaiyang classics, and Hainan’s freshest produce.
- “Grilled & Gliding”—CHAR Bar & Grill’s new charcoal‑infused Western fare, inspired by its “new five senses” philosophy, available on international routes.
The journey culminated in a gala dinner at the recently opened Kimpton Aqeos Hainan, where leaders from both organizations—IHG Greater China’s Daniel Aylmer, Jerome Qiu, Rita Jiang, and Ivan Chen, alongside HNA Aviation’s Zhu Tao, Yu Chaojie, and Liu Jun—gathered to mark this milestone.
