(PRESS RELEASE) Chicago, IL, 2024-Sep-26 — /Travel PR News/ — Hyatt Hotels Corporation is on an ambitious path to enhance its luxury and lifestyle offerings with the introduction of over 20 new properties across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean by 2025. This strategic growth initiative aims to broaden Hyatt’s brand presence in emerging markets, enabling them to better serve guests and World of Hyatt members on a wider scale.
Since 2017, Hyatt has seen impressive growth, doubling its luxury room count, tripling its resort offerings, and expanding its lifestyle accommodations fivefold. This achievement positions Hyatt as a leading force in the luxury sector, appealing to travelers seeking unique and enriching experiences. A recent survey highlighted that 88% of consumers are eager to travel for leisure, reflecting a growing demand for high-quality hospitality.
Crystal Vinisse Thomas, vice president and global brand leader for Hyatt’s luxury and lifestyle brands, expressed excitement about the brand’s expansion. “Listening to our guests helps us identify key markets and experiences that truly resonate with them,” she noted, emphasizing the importance of connection and exploration in their offerings.
Additionally, Hyatt plans to acquire Standard International, a pioneer in lifestyle hospitality. This acquisition will strengthen Hyatt’s lifestyle brand portfolio, incorporating The Standard and Bunkhouse Hotels into its operations and enhancing the experiences available to its 48 million loyalty members.
Upcoming openings include a variety of new hotels in prime leisure destinations. Highlights for 2024 encompass the Andaz hotel in Miami Beach and the debut of Hyatt Centric properties in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. Moreover, renovations at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas are set to elevate this iconic California destination.
Looking ahead, 2025 will see Hyatt introduce several notable brands in key markets, including the first Park Hyatt and Dream Hotels in Mexico, further solidifying its position in luxury and lifestyle hospitality.
Hyatt’s commitment to exceptional service is exemplified through its innovative World of Hyatt loyalty program, now offering more opportunities for members to earn and redeem points at a wide range of luxury properties, including partnerships with Mr & Mrs Smith and Under Canvas. Additionally, collaborations with Peloton, Headspace, and MasterClass support holistic guest well-being.
