Hilton named Best Workplace in Asia for eighth consecutive year with focus on employee growth and leadership development

(NEWS) SINGAPORE, 2025-Sep-1 — /Travel PR News/ — Hilton has been ranked the number one Best Workplace in Asia by Great Place to Work®, reinforcing its standing as the region’s top hospitality employer for eight consecutive years. The recognition reflects Hilton’s dedication to creating a workplace culture centered on wellness, inclusion, purpose, and growth opportunities for its more than 92,000 team members across Asia Pacific.

With over 1,100 hotels in the region and plans to generate more than 2,300 new leadership positions by 2030, Hilton is focusing on building a strong pipeline of future leaders through leadership development, career mobility, and continuous learning. According to Alan Watts, President of Asia Pacific at Hilton, this recognition is a testament to the passion and commitment of employees who bring the company’s culture of hospitality to life daily.

Patsy Ng, Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Asia Pacific, added that the accolade strengthens Hilton’s commitment to nurturing talent with the skills and ambition to grow in the hospitality sector.

The latest achievement adds to a series of country-level accolades, with Hilton also named a top employer in Australia, India, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka, and consistently recognized across Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, Korea, and China.

Hilton has been named the Best Workplace in Sri Lanka™ 2025 by Great Place to Work®, topping the large-sized business category for the first time after four years as the leading hospitality employer. The recognition highlights Hilton’s people-first culture and programs such as the HAPPY apprenticeship at Hilton Yala Resort, which has trained 33 local youth, including trainee-turned-waitress Vishmi Prabha. Supported by global and regional initiatives like Thrive at Hilton, GoFlexi!, and Women in Leadership, the award—based on employee feedback—comes amid Sri Lanka’s tourism growth and follows recent honors in Vietnam and the Philippines.
