(PRESS RELEASE) Munich, Germany, 2024-Aug-23 — /Travel PR News/ — The iconic Hilton Munich Park hotel is poised for a significant transformation as part of the ambitious Tucherpark redevelopment in Munich, following a new long-term agreement between Hilton and a joint venture of Commerz Real AG and Hines. The hotel, which has been a landmark since its opening for the Munich Olympic Games, will undergo extensive redevelopment to become a central feature of the innovative mixed-use Circular City Tucherpark project.

The Tucherpark project aims to create a vibrant new community by integrating residential, retail, office, and hospitality spaces in a seamless urban environment. As a key element of this development, Hilton Munich Park will be reimagined to align with the project’s vision of blending natural beauty with modern urban living. The redevelopment plans include a new rooftop restaurant and bar with panoramic views of the adjacent English Gardens, redesigned meeting spaces, and enhanced wellness facilities. These updates are intended to solidify the hotel’s status as a premier destination for both business and leisure travelers.

The hotel will close at the end of 2024, with the redevelopment expected to be completed by 2029. During this time, Hilton will continue to serve guests at its other Munich locations. Hilton’s collaboration with Commerz Real and Hines is expected to set new standards in hospitality, contributing to the success of the Tucherpark community and enhancing Munich’s appeal as a global destination.
