MUMBAI – 2012-11-08 — /travelprnews.com/ — Hilton Mumbai International Airport today announced the appointment of Kasturi Deo as Executive Housekeeper.
Vikas Kapai, general manager, Hilton Mumbai International Airport, said, “Kasturi has more than a decade of experience. She will be a valuable asset to the team at the hotel. I welcome Kasturi on behalf of the entire team and wish her all the best in this assignment”.
Kasturi brings more than 15 years of experience to her new role. In her former position at Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Co. Ltd., she was heading housekeeping operations for the Mumbai based company with diverse interests in textile, airlines, FMCG and realty.
Kasturi said, “I am delighted to join the team at Hilton Mumbai International Airport and I look forward to leveraging my experience at the property. After a few years of corporate housekeeping, it is a pleasure to return to the hotel industry”.
Prior to Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Co. Ltd, Kasturi has held positions with Leela Kempinski in Mumbai, Taj Residency in Vadodara, Hotel Ramada in Mumbai, Ramada Caravela Beach Resort in Goa, Ambassador Group of Hotels in Mumbai, Le Meridien in Ahmedabad, Lotus Suites in Mumbai and The Oberoi in Mumbai.
Kasturi received a Post Graduate Diploma in Accommodation Operations and Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHMCTAN) Mumbai.
