(IN SHORT) Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ EUROPA 2 is currently featuring two bespoke Circa shows—Seas the Night (created for the ship) and Wolf—in its onboard theater as the vessel sails Western Europe’s coast. Circa, the award-winning Australian contemporary circus led by Yaron Lifschitz, emphasizes raw acrobatic skill and emotive storytelling without traditional circus apparatus. After this voyage’s success, EUROPA 2 will present Circa again on two 2026 Pacific cruises: a 21-day Los Angeles–Tahiti trip and a 22-day Tahiti–Easter Island–Valparaíso route. Bookings in PLATINUM and SILVER fare classes include door-to-door travel packages. Circa’s engagement highlights Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ dedication to delivering intimate, culturally rich entertainment for its maximum 500 guests per sailing.
(PRESS RELEASE) HAMBURG, Germany, 2025-Jul-14 — /Travel PR News/ — Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has partnered once again with Australia’s trailblazing contemporary circus company Circa to enchant guests aboard its flagship EUROPA 2. Known for eschewing traditional circus trappings in favor of pure physical artistry, Circa blends high-caliber acrobatics, dance, and avant-garde design—no ring, no illusions—in two original productions staged in the ship’s intimate theater as it sails from Hamburg to Bilbao.
Making its maritime debut, the specially adapted show Seas the Night joins the acclaimed Wolf in a program tailored to the EUROPA 2’s 500-guest audience. Under Artistic Director Yaron Lifschitz, performers defy gravity and convention, weaving emotional narratives through vertiginous lifts, gravity-defying formations, and powerful choreography. “Performing in a moving venue adds a unique dynamism,” Lifschitz notes. “This distilled expression of our art truly moves both us and our audience.”

Guests can book in PLATINUM or SILVER fare categories, which include travel packages to embarkation points.
“Circa’s breathtaking shows exemplify our commitment to combining world-class service with global cultural discovery,” says Foad Naddafi, Artistic Director of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. “Their artistry perfectly complements EUROPA 2’s reputation for luxury, innovation, and intimate entertainment.”
