Future Aerospace Engineers Offered Career Path as Embraer and ITA Launch New Master’s Program with Benefits and Hiring Opportunities
(NEWS) SÃO JOSÉ DOS CAMPOS, BRAZIL, 2025-Aug-26 — /Travel PR News/ — Embraer, in collaboration with the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA), has announced the final weeks of applications for its Master of Science in Aeronautical Engineering Program, which offers 45 places for engineers in Brazil. Applications close on September 7, with candidates from nearly 30 engineering disciplines eligible to apply. Each selected student will receive a monthly scholarship of R$5,000, which increases by 20% after one year, alongside benefits including medical and dental coverage, life insurance, and meal allowances. Classes are set to begin in February 2026 at Embraer’s headquarters in São José dos Campos and at ITA, combining in-person and hybrid teaching formats.
The 18-month program, officially recognized by Brazil’s Ministry of Education, will be delivered by academic staff from ITA, Embraer professionals, and external experts. It is open to graduates from the years 2023, 2024, and 2025 with degrees in fields such as aerospace, civil, mechanical, robotics, software, and telecommunications engineering, among others. Advanced English proficiency is required. Embraer notes that developing people is central to its strategy, with Vice President of People, ESG, and Corporate Communications, Andreza Alberto, highlighting that more than 96% of graduates from past editions have gone on to join Embraer’s workforce. To date, over 1,600 engineers from the program have been hired, playing a vital role in shaping the company’s innovation and future aircraft designs.
As Brazil’s leading aerospace company, Embraer positions this initiative as both a talent pipeline and a contribution to the wider aeronautical sector, reinforcing its global presence in commercial, executive, defense, and agricultural aviation. With over 9,000 aircraft delivered since its founding in 1969 and a worldwide network of operations across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia, Embraer remains a critical player in advancing aviation technology while investing in new generations of aerospace engineers.
In parallel with Embraer’s initiative, AEGEAN has also introduced the latest cycle of its Aircraft Engineer Training Scholarship Program, offering a pathway for aspiring maintenance professionals. The two-year program blends classroom instruction with hands-on training at AEGEAN’s Technical Base, preparing 20 participants to earn their B1.1 Category Aircraft Maintenance License (Part-66). Each trainee receives a 50% tuition scholarship, with the top three graduates awarded additional coverage of up to 100%. Successful graduates are guaranteed entry-level positions at AEGEAN Technics following licensing. Delivered in collaboration with Olympic Air Maintenance Training Organization, applications are open through July 4 via AEGEAN’s website, where full program details and contact information are available.
