Shanghai, China, 2016-Mar-02 — /Travel PR News/ — After a two-month enhancement, Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai has unveiled a fully renovated lobby with a contemporary and modern look. To celebrate, Hotel guests are invited to participate in the “Let’s Paint” program with in-house artist Tang BoJun.
A large canvas is set up in the lobby through March 15, 2016 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, close to BoJun’s art studio. All guests are welcome to add their colourful strokes to the painting to make it “the lobby in guests’ eyes.”
Artist BoJun will be there to offer painting advice. This interactive approach allows Hotel guests and friends to feel the dynamic fusion of art and life. The finished artwork will be displayed in the Hotel’s Art Studio. A tailor-made postcard with the painting image will be shared with travellers in hotel rooms and public areas. All guests who participate will receive the post card from the Hotel as a memory of their participation.
About Tang BoJun
Born in the 1980s, Tang BoJun was raised with a strong interest in art even from a young age. He was influenced by his family members who have generations of artistic tradition. After graduating from Fuzhou Art Academy, BoJun dedicated his career to oil painting. He moved to Shanghai in 2009. Since then, he has formed his own unique style and has been recognised in China’s fast-growing art scene. Many of his works are collected by industry insiders, and some of his works have been commissioned by national art organisations.
The art workshop at Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai operates daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Guests can visit the workshop and talk with the artist, and even request a custom portrait oil painting.
