From signature Arabic blends in First Class to expertly brewed options in Emirates lounges, the airline’s coffee offerings reflect its commitment to quality and customer experience.

Onboard Coffee Experience: 130,000 Kilograms Annually

Each year, Emirates serves more than 130,000 kilograms of coffee onboard its flights. A standout is the airline’s exclusive Arabic coffee blend, developed in partnership with artisan local producer Mattina. This blend features premium Arabica beans from Brazil’s Cerrado de Minas region, carefully roasted and infused with Guatemalan cardamom and saffron to reflect traditional Emirati Qahwa.

First Class passengers can enjoy this signature coffee, while a variety of global coffee brands such as Lavazza and Coffee Planet are available across all cabins. Passengers in Business and First Class can order from a Lavazza coffee menu featuring options like cappuccinos, iced Americanos, and espressos, while Economy and Premium Economy guests receive coffee service during meals. Emirates even offers seasonal beverages for special occasions like Christmas and Valentine’s Day, such as a rose-infused mocha or an orange crush latte.

Luxurious Lounges: 40,000 Kilograms Annually

In its seven luxurious lounges at Dubai International Airport, Emirates serves 26,000 kilograms of coffee annually to the 5.1 million passengers who pass through. In the First Class lounge at Concourse B, passengers can visit a dedicated coffee counter, sampling from three rotating single-origin coffees curated by Emirates’ team of baristas. The origins and flavors range from Colombia’s Huila Buenavista to Brazil’s Sao Vale Do Sol, ensuring variety for frequent flyers. Around the globe, an additional 14,000 kilograms of coffee beans are served to 2.1 million customers annually in the airline’s 34 international lounges.

Cabin Crew Coffee Training

Emirates’ cabin crew receive specialized coffee training, where they learn about different coffee origins, preparation methods, and how to serve Emirates’ signature Arabic coffee to ensure a flawless customer experience. First Class passengers can savor their coffee in Royal Doulton fine bone china, with Business Class served in fine bone china mugs.

Emirates continues to elevate its coffee offerings, combining artisan techniques with luxurious service to create an exceptional inflight and lounge experience for coffee lovers.
