2012-07-21 — /travelprnews.com/ — easyJet has this week launched its first mobile optimized website across Europe. Accessed through http://m.easyjet.com the new mobile site gives customers the ability to search & book flights, check flight information on the go, manage flight bookings and access FAQs through Blackberry, Windows 7, iPhone and Android devices.
Supporting six languages, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch and available for anyone with an internet enabled phone, it requires no download of software and is as simple as typing m.easyjet.com into your mobile browser.
The launch follows the successful introduction of easyJet iPhone & Android apps in December last year. In just over 6 months the app has been downloaded over 2 million times and received a 4.5 star rating in Apple’s App Store.
Peter Duffy, Marketing Director for easyJet, commented:
“The launch of our mobile optimised website builds on the success of our apps and will help more of our customers access the information they need on the move. We are still at the beginning of an exciting journey in Mobile and plan many more customer-focused updates which will help make travel easier, particularly during the in-airport experience.”
