In addition, the airport will be working with Signature Flight Support to develop a new fixed base operation for general and corporate aviation on the west side of the airfield.

”I’m thrilled to be joining the talented management team at SJC,” said Marcell. “The airport has built a strong foundation for growth and I’m anxious to get to work to build the business and increase the air service portfolio to take our customers where they want to go.”

According to Angela Gittens, Director General of ACI-World, Marcell has a great passion for the airport industry that should match well with SJC. “Cheryl will be able to parlay her knowledge of international best practices, along with her U.S. experience, to help frame the best solutions for Mineta San José International Airport.”
