The new “Hong Kong Flavours” menu will offer a selection of traditional, high-quality Cantonese dishes, bringing a taste of Hong Kong to the skies for passengers on selected flights departing from Hong Kong beginning in January 2025. Yat Tung Heen, a respected dining institution since 1990, is led by Chef Tam Tung, who is celebrated for his dedication to preserving and innovating Cantonese culinary traditions. As part of the partnership, the exclusive inflight menu features dishes inspired by the restaurant’s signature offerings. Premium Economy passengers will enjoy dishes like smoked duck breast with pickled mustard greens and galangal, as well as braised beef brisket with chu hou sauce. Economy class passengers will be treated to options such as marinated cherry tomatoes with preserved plum and the sweet and sour pork with fresh pineapple.
Vivian Lo, Cathay Pacific’s General Manager of Customer Experience and Design, expressed excitement about working with a Michelin-starred restaurant, saying the collaboration will create a memorable dining experience for travelers.
