2012-11-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — Buyers and sellers guide to Newquay Cornwall Airport
1 – Be pleasant and polite to both customers and other sellers
2 – Setup starts one hour before buyers are allowed in, try to arrive in good time to set up your stall
3 – Bring plenty of change
4 – No buying or selling before the event officially starts
5 – If electrical goods are being sold they must function correctly and be fitted with a plug
6 – Do not bring weapons to sell; this includes air guns, BB guns, knives, swords etc. Toy weapons are allowed
7 – Do not bring counterfeit goods to sell, this includes copied DVDs, imitation perfume etc
8 – Ensure that DVDs/CDs are in the box or packet before selling them
9 – Bad weather is sometimes inevitable so be prepared for the rain and have something to protect your stock
10 – If asked about the goods you are selling, be honest about what kind of treatment they’ve had, it’s in everyone’s best interests
11 – Be prepared to haggle with buyers, this is part of the spirit of car boots – don’t be offended, be polite but honest if the offer is too low
12 – Not everyone is a dog lover so ensure pets are on a lead and keep them under control at all times
13 – We welcome children but please be aware that they need looking after as the sale could be very busy
14 – If you have any problems find a member of staff in high-visibility clothing and they can help.
15 – We hope you have a safe and enjoyable time but if First Aiders needed will have badges to identify them or speak to a member of staff in high-visibility clothing
16 – Have fun with friends and family in the open air at Newquay Cornwall Airport
