(PRESS RELEASE) ARLINGTON, VA, 2025-Jul-10 — /Travel PR News/ — Boeing today pledged $200,000 from the Boeing Charitable Trust to support flood recovery in central Texas. We have designated $100,000 to the Salvation Army San Antonio Area Command to fund emergency shelters, meal services, emotional support, and health care for those affected. An additional $100,000 will bolster the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, ensuring trusted local organizations can continue rescue, relief, and rebuilding efforts in Kerrville.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to everyone impacted by this tragedy,” said Jeff Shockey, Executive Vice President of Boeing Government Operations, Global Public Policy, and Corporate Strategy. “With our Texas teammates personally experiencing these floods, we are grateful to our partners on the ground for leading the path to recovery.”
In concert with this corporate contribution, Boeing employees are supporting relief through their local Boeing Employees’ Community Fund chapters, volunteer efforts, and our gift-matching program, which will match qualifying employee donations toward flood relief.
Boeing’s disaster relief commitment reflects our long-standing investment in Texas communities, where over 7,300 Boeing employees work. Last year, Boeing contributed $7.9 million to charitable causes across the state and provided $3.8 million globally to disaster recovery and relief initiatives.
