LONDON, 2015-12-23 — /Travel PR News/ — Heathrow is pleased to announce the arrival of Portr, the London based travel-technology company to the airport, providing customers with an on-demand baggage delivery service.
AirPortr delivers passengers bags within hours between London locations and Heathrow – providing same-day, on demand bag free travel for Heathrow’s passengers. AirPortr concierges will be initially at Terminals 3 and 5 with a rollout to Terminals 2 and 4 planned in early 2016.
AirPortr can be pre-booked in advance or on the day of travel from any device. Bags can be dropped off in the airport (Arrivals) to an AirPortr, before being securely transported to their London destination. Or bags can be collected from any London location and delivered to the airport (Departures) at a time suitable to the customer.
Using AirPortr transforms the journey to the Heathrow. Without their luggage in tow, passengers can now travel lighter, quicker and stress free. They can take the Heathrow Express or public transport without heavy luggage.
Two bags regardless of size or weight, delivered between the airport and Central London will cost just £30.
