ON 26 APRIL 2016, THE 70TH BOEING 777 JOINED THE COMPANY’S FLEET
PARIS, FRANCE, 2016-Apr-27 — /Travel PR News/ — Air France is expanding its fleet by welcoming a new Boeing 777-300, thus increasing its capacity thanks to 43 Boeing 777-300s, 25 Boeing 777-200ERs and two Boeing 777F Cargo. This 70th aircraft will operate on the Company’s long-haul network.
From taking delivery of its first Boeing 707 at the end of the 1950s, Air France has operated nearly all the Boeing aircraft. Today, the Boeing 777, which joined the Air France fleet for the first time in 1998, is the pillar of the Company’s long-haul fleet which last year served over 179 destinations in 80 countries.
With a fleet of 96 Boeing 777s, the Air France-KLM Group is the world’s second-largest operator of this type of aircraft.
