Moscow, 2013-03-07 — /travelprnews.com/ — JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines” summed up traffic and capacity statistics for January 2013.
In January 2013 passenger traffic increased by 19.1% against January 2012 and totaled 1,395.7 ths passengers.
International passenger traffic rose by 22.0% (+155.9 ths passengers) reaching 863.1 ths passengers. The number of passengers served on domestic lines was 532.6 ths which is 14.6% more (+67.9 ths passengers) compared to the result of January 2012.
Seat load factor in January 2013 rose by 1.4 p.p. compared to January 2012 and reached 73.7%. Revenue load factor reached 60.0% (+2.2 p.p. compared to January 2012).
Passenger turnover of the company went up by 21.8% against January 2012 and reached 4,248 mln passenger-kilometers. International passenger turnover totaled 3,034 mln passenger-kilometers which is 25.1% more compared to the same period of 2012. The domestic passenger turnover increased by 14.3% against January 2012 and amounted to 1,214 mln passenger-kilometers.
Aeroflot cargo-mail tonnage totaled 11,655 tonne which is 14.5% more compared to January 2012.
