Aeroflot Open International Innovation Contest Grand Final

2013-02-25 — /travelprnews.com/ — Aeroflot Open International Innovation Contest Grand Final will take place in Moscow starting from March 01 till March 03, 2013. This is the first time such a contest is held in Russia.

The main goal of this competition organized in partnership with the Federal Business Incubators Network «Open Innovation Inc.» is to develop a concept of «In-flight Entertainment Platform».

Teams of professional developers and university students took part in the qualifying sessions during October 2012 — February 2013. In the beginning of March 2013 the Moscow State University of Foreign Affairs will open its doors for the semi-final and the Grand Final of the Contest.

On March 01, 2013 twenty best teams will present their In-flight Entertainment Platform concepts. Upon the results of the semi-final five top teams will form the short list for the Grand Final to be held on March 03, 2013. After the finalists’ concepts presentation, the Jury will announce three winners.

The winner team will get 2 business class tickets to any destination in the world, 100.000 rubles and the possibility to implement their concept in practice.

The second place team will get 2 economy class tickets and 50.000 rubles. The bronze prize team members will receive two Ipad’s.
