With over 15 years of international experience in luxury hospitality, Robinson brings a proven record of operational leadership, guest engagement, and strategic growth to the helm of this iconic Palm Jumeirah property.
Having served most recently as General Manager at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort, Michael Robinson led the Bangkok property through a transformative phase that saw marked improvements in both guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Prior to this, he was instrumental in revitalising FCC Angkor by Avani in Cambodia, successfully navigating the post-pandemic landscape and re-establishing the resort’s market presence through innovative strategies and solid performance metrics.
Michael’s career has also included leadership roles with Hyatt Hotels at Grand Hyatt Doha and Park Hyatt Dubai, giving him valuable regional insight and a deep understanding of the Dubai luxury hospitality scene. His educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in International Hotel Management from the International College of Hotel Management in Adelaide, Australia, and a Diploma from the Swiss Hotel Association.
