(IN SHORT) Air Canada has officially launched its new summer route between Toronto and Prague, offering non-stop service three times weekly from June 6 to September 29, 2025. The route, operated by an Airbus A330-300, enhances connectivity between Canada and Central Europe, allowing for convenient travel and trade while offering three classes of service, including the premium Air Canada Signature Class. This expansion is part of Air Canada’s wider summer network growth across Europe, which includes new and reinstated routes to Porto, Naples, London, and soon, Edinburgh.
(PRESS RELEASE) MONTRÉAL, 2025-Jun-9 — /Travel PR News/ — Air Canada proudly announced the successful launch of its newest international route from Toronto to Prague, Czech Republic, with the inaugural flight having landed yesterday in the historic European capital. This marks another significant step in the airline’s summer expansion across Europe, reinforcing its commitment to connecting Canadians and international travelers to more global destinations.
“We are excited to return to Prague, our newest Europe destination now added to our global network,” said Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer and President, Cargo. “Our flights connect two countries, facilitating travel, tourism and trade. We design routes like this one to appeal to our customers throughout our North American network, with convenient travel options at our Toronto hub. Whether people are visiting family and friends in Prague, exploring its celebrated architecture, bohemian history and rich culture, or customers from Central Europe visiting and exploring Canada from coast to coast, our flights make discovering all that our two countries offer easier than ever.”
The Prague route is part of Air Canada’s robust European expansion this summer. It follows the successful launch of the Montreal–Porto route earlier this week, the start of service to Naples in May, and the reinstatement of the Ottawa–London Heathrow route in April. Later this month, the airline will further expand its network with a new Montreal–Edinburgh route launching at the end of June.
