Zurich Airport wins third place in Best Airport in Europe category of the 2016 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards

ZURICH, Switzerland, 2017-Mar-06 — /Travel PR News/ — Zurich Airport took third place in the Europe category of the 2016 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards. These awards are presented annually by the leading international umbrella association of airport operators. The association carries out around 600,000 individual passenger surveys to measure customer satisfaction at more than 280 airports around the world.

The ASQ Awards have been presented annually by the Montreal-based international umbrella association of airport operators since 2006. Participation is voluntary and enables airports to continually benchmark their quality standards against one another and improve their performance.

In the Best Airport in Europe category, Zurich Airport took third place behind Sochi and Moscow Sheremetyevo. The good placement is the result of close cooperation between the airport operator and its partner companies, as well as the dedication of its employees every single day.

The winners are chosen by surveying passengers at airports worldwide on the day of their journey. Using a standard questionnaire, this produces around 600,000 individual replies each year. The passengers are asked to assess 34 different indicators, including the airport’s accessibility, check-in and range of shops and restaurants.
