These experiences, titled The Magic of Beauty of Contrast and The Way of the Sea, blend gourmet dining with art and design, featuring collaborations with chefs, designers, and artists. The Shanghai event combines multi-sensory elements like digital art and lighting, while the Phu Quoc event celebrates Vietnamese maritime culture through a themed menu and artistic installations. (PRESS RELEASE) WINDSOR, UK, 2024-Nov-2 — /Travel PR News/ — Regent Hotels & Resorts has unveiled two new immersive culinary experiences under its Regent Taste Studio series, blending fine dining with artistic expression at Regent Shanghai on The Bund and Regent Phu Quoc. These limited-edition pop-ups, titled The Magic of Beauty of Contrast and The Way of the Sea, highlight the synergy between culinary artistry and cultural storytelling through collaborative efforts with chefs, designers, and artists.

At Regent Shanghai on The Bund, The Magic of Beauty of Contrast will run from October 29 to November 20, 2024. This multi-sensory experience draws inspiration from stained glass and involves an ensemble of four chefs from Shanghai and Chongqing, alongside artists specializing in modern dance, experimental music, glassmaking, and digital art. The dining journey is divided into five themed chapters, each accompanied by immersive digital art and lighting, designed to transport guests to new worlds through vibrant storytelling.

Meanwhile, at Regent Phu Quoc from November 7 to 9, 2024, The Way of the Sea will offer guests an evocative exploration of Vietnamese maritime heritage. Created by Executive Chef Francesco Andreoni and Chef de Cuisine Andy Huỳnh, this ocean-inspired menu celebrates Vietnam’s coastal traditions. With visual storytelling by Mr. Dripping, an artist using traditional Vietnamese materials and his distinctive drip ink technique, guests will experience a visual and culinary journey that resonates with Vietnam’s rich oceanic culture. The event will also showcase an architectural installation by Mr. Dripping, adding an artistic dimension to the Phu Quoc landscape.
