Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts receives a Service Champion award for the seventh time in a row – IntercityHotel brand also wins gold for customer satisfaction
Main, Germany, 2018-Oct-18 — /Travel PR News/ — Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts have won a prestigious “Service Champion Award” for the seventh time in succession. The traditional brand is once again celebrating overall victory having beaten off a total of 3,016 challengers from 327 branches.
These annual rankings involve evaluating and analysing numerous companies from a customer point of view. Service Champions is Germany’s major service award and is an initiative launched by the Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main and the newspaper DIE WELT in conjunction with the Cologne-based analysis company Service Value GmbH.

The latest rankings have also revealed that IntercityHotel guests are especially pleased with the level of service they receive. Proof of this success has come in the form of a gold medal for customer satisfaction. “A satisfied guest is the objective of every hotelier”, said Joachim Marusczyk, founding Managing Director of IntercityHotel GmbH. “IntercityHotel has a successful track record going back more than 30 years. Our hotels are a friendly, time-saving and comfortable option. They also offer a high level of service quality, as do our employees who work tirelessly to pass on our values to each individual guest.
