As holidaymakers prepare for their journeys to popular destinations such as London, Palma de Mallorca, Amsterdam, Rome, and Dubai, the airport is encouraging travelers to plan ahead for a smooth and stress-free departure. Meanwhile, those staying in Switzerland can also enjoy a host of seasonal activities and events at the airport.

Zurich Airport has shared a series of practical tips to help passengers avoid delays and enjoy a seamless airport experience:

• Check-in Ahead of Time: Passengers are urged to use online or evening-before check-in options available with many airlines.
• Use Self-Service Tools: Self bag drop facilities are available for a wide range of airlines, including the Lufthansa Group, KLM, Air France, and SAS. Travelers can also print baggage tags at designated kiosks located in all check-in areas, Arrivals 1, and Airport Shopping.
• Know What to Pack: Travelers should review current baggage regulations—especially for items like batteries, power banks, and e-cigarettes—via the airport’s online baggage search tool.
• Arrive on Time: Zurich Airport’s “Find a Flight” function lets passengers check their recommended arrival time based on check-in and luggage status.

Zurich Airport is also offering a range of seasonal experiences for non-travelers and families enjoying a day out. From 31 March, Observation Deck B is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00. Observation Deck E is accessible on weekends and public holidays via a complimentary shuttle bus from Deck B.
