Wizz Air reports 19% increase of the passenger numbers in August

Budapest, 2015-9-3 — /Travel PR News/ — Wizz Air Holdings Plc (“Wizz Air”), the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces passenger statistics for August 2015.

In August, Wizz Air enhanced its operations infrastructure with a brand new purpose-built aircraft maintenance hangar in Budapest. The 2,000 square metre building is designed to accommodate the larger Airbus A321 models Wizz Air will add to its fleet starting in November.

Wizz Air also continues to expand its network with new destinations and new routes, on sale now, as well as grow its bases with the announcements of:

• Two new destinations added to the network of Nice (France) and Baden-Baden (Germany)
• Seven new routes added to the network commencing in the second half of this financial year in Bulgaria (4), Slovakia (1), and Hungary (2)
• Base expansion with a 6^th new aircraft to Sofia (Bulgaria) and a 10^thaircraft in Budapest (Hungary), both arriving in March 2016.
