2012-09-13 — /travelprnews.com/ — Problems with electricity support in Sheremetyevo international airport caused Aeroflot to delay a number of domestic and international flights because of registration and baggage system malfunctions and also because of custom control failure.
The systems are being restored at the moment.
As of 01.10 pm (MSK) flights operation from Terminal-D is recovered. A number of flights was urgently transferred to Terminals E and F (please find details below). Terminals D, E and F are connected by walking gallery.
Flights with registration time starting later than 18.55 will be operated without changes.
An error in work of Online services occurred. Currently online services “Online-timetable” and “Flight status” presented on Aeroflot website do not indicate all the changes in departure terminals (please find details below), therefore an intensive work aimed to recover the airport’s IT-systems is held.
Call Aeroflot Contact-center for flights information: +7(495)2235555 (Moscow); (800)4445555 (free for Russia).
Also you can reach Aeroflot’s voice and SMS information systems for flight changes.
We apologize and are doing our best to solve the situation.
