The best way to learn English and explore Ireland in the comfort of your home!
Dublin, Ireland, 2020-May-13 — /Travel PR News/ — Travelling Languages are proud to announce they are launching their very unique Virtual immersive summer camp for summer 2020!
With the current Covid-19 outbreak Travelling Languages have taken their innovative approach of teaching English while travelling around Ireland and they have made it remotely accessible. For those who know already Travelling Languages, they know they are not used to the usual approach to teach a language, so this is not the usual online course.
Travelling Languages, an ACELS accredited language school based in Dublin, have in fact been offering total immersion courses travelling around Ireland since 2011. Because of the current situation, travel restrictions and social distancing (that they prefer calling physical distancing), travelling programmes have been put on hold for the summer, so they have decided to travel to their students’ homes!
This is not the typical online course where students must be prepared to manage their own time and receive material every day, but it is a real immersive experience that happens while sitting at home.
Travelling Languages believe that language courses are not as effective if they are not followed by a real immersion in the local culture and interaction with locals, this is why the programme includes real time interaction with local guides and host families in Ireland.
Rosanna Fiorenza, director of Travelling Languages, mentioned: “This course is the digital version of our real summer camp. There are 3h lesson daily, Monday to Friday, then our activities are prepared and led by our accredited tour guides, with original multimedia content, in a way that feels like walking with them around Dublin and Ireland. Of course, they are delivering the tour in real time so everyone can ask questions as if they were physically touring or visiting a venue. Our host families loved the idea as well and they are ready to welcome our students from July 5th.”
Travelling Languages have developed a proprietary platform to allow students entering the right class just by clicking a button. There is no need to download any app and any internet browser can be used to access it.
“Students just need a phone or a computer to login and they will see just a button to access their class or activity or the assigned host family” – said Salvatore Fanara, co-director – “During the lesson, our teachers can mute or expel students if needed and the system inform automatically a guardian if a student has not showed up or is disruptive”
Travelling Languages’ Virtual Summer Camp 2020 puts together their experience in teaching English while travelling and gives students a fantastic immersive online programme.
Given the circumstances, rates and commissions are very competitive and new agents are more than welcome.
