The Adventure Travel Trade Association launched the newly redesigned Adventure.Travel website

SEATTLE, 2016-Aug-03 — /Travel PR News/ — The Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA;www.adventuretravel.biz) has just launched the newly redesigned Adventure.Travel website. Adventure.Travel is the consumer-facing companion website of the ATTA, showcasing the association’s members and partners. The website compiles hundreds of responsible tour operators, travel advisors, adventure destinations and accommodations and features trips, traveler reviews, photos, videos and articles in a searchable format for easy traveler access.

There are currently over 400 tour operators, more than 100 destinations and nearly 100 activities featured on Adventure.Travel. A regular email campaign highlights content from the site in addition to offering contests and trip giveaways to more than 100,000 subscribers. The redesigned version of the website is mobile friendly and image-rich. It has a fresh modern look and also offers new opportunities for ATTA members and partners to present their products directly to travelers, who can book selected trips directly online.

“Adventure.Travel is much more than just a marketplace of adventure trips,” said ATTA VP of Marketing and Communications Casey Hanisko. “It’s designed to be a community of responsible travelers. We added a new tagline ‘Inspiring Impactful Travel’ so that it’s clear that these trips and these places aren’t just about fun and adrenaline; they are also educational, inspirational and mind-opening.”

The new Adventure.Travel includes the launch of an original content platform, featuring stories, photos and videos from our vast network of respected adventure travel storytellers and journalists. In addition to curating great writing from around the travel publishing world, a new column called “The Way” has original stories written for visitors to Adventure.Travel that readers won’t find anywhere else.

For the month of August 2016, Adventure.Travel is hosting the ATTA’s Adventure in Motion Film Contest, featuring more than eighty short videos that serve as great examples of the kinds of travel experiences the ATTA and Adventure.Travel seek to promote.
