TAP wins “Best Airline” category of the Publituris Portugal Travel Awards 2016

Lisbon, Portugal, 2016-Sep-23 — /Travel PR News/ — Portuguese flag-carrier TAP was the overall winner in the “Best Airline” category of the Publituris Portugal Travel Awards 2016. The 13th edition of this prize ceremony gala was held in Coimbra last Friday.

The finalists, who were short-listed in each category by online votes and according to the choices of “Publituris” readers, are carefully analysed by a panel of “Publituris Travel Awards” jury members, composed of specialists and well-known personalities from the tourism area, who voted for the winners in each category.

The newspaper is responsible for putting the names for the Publituris awards forward and the assessment takes into consideration aspects such as company knowledge, coherent communication policy, innovation and media visibility.

TAP fought off five other companies in its category and was chosen for the prestigious publication’s tourist sector prize.

Not even a month after winning international distinction at the World Travel Awards, TAP now repeats its success at home.

The annual tourism gala, which this year was held at the São Francisco Convent in Coimbra, awards prizes to the best companies, institutions, services and professionals in this area in Portugal.

This award is important recognition of the work TAP has done to become a leading benchmark company in Portugal and the other markets where it operates.
