2012-10-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — Following the call for strike action by a single union as from 26 October, Air France is doing all it can to limit the impact of this disruption on its flights and to provide customers with optimum information as early as possible.

On 26 October, Air France expects to carry all its passengers to their final destination. Disruptions to flights should remain limited to a few delays.

Air France will inform customers directly by telephone, SMS or email

In the case of a disruption to their flight, Air France will do its best to inform customers directly by telephone, SMS or email.

To be notified personally, Air France recommends that all customers check that they have provided their contact details while travelling (mobile phone or email). This information can be entered on the website www.airfrance.com, on the Air France mobile site (http://mobile.airfrance.com), the iPhone, Android and Windows Phone apps, via the “Consult/Change your reservations” section.

This free “AF Connect” service is available in 10 languages to all passengers worldwide.

Consult flight information

Information concerning flights on the current day and the following day can be consulted at any time:

– on www.airfrance.com, in the “Flight schedules” section.

– on the Air France mobile site (http://mobile.airfrance.com) and on iPhone, Android, Windows Phone apps, in the “All flight schedules” section.

– by SMS, by texting one’s flight number to 6 36 54. For example, a passenger is scheduled to travel on flight AF6250 and texts ‘AF6250’ by SMS. In a few minutes, they will receive real-time updated information concerning their flight. This service is accessible in Metropolitan France only.
