Spirit Airlines Releases First DEI&B Impact Report, Highlighting Progress and Initiatives

MIRAMAR, Fla., 2023-Jul-18 — /Travel PR News/ — Spirit Airlines (NYSE: SAVE) published its first Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging (DEI&B) Impact Report, highlighting the carrier’s efforts, opportunities and accomplishments of 2022. It celebrates the DEI&B initiatives that have led to six pioneering Spirit Resource Groups, and an activation plan to create pathways for purposeful change.

The 2022 DEI&B report showcases Spirit’s progress toward an even more inclusive future and highlights key 2022 progress points that include:

• Diversifying ethnicity and increasing gender representation among the Spirit Family, which exceeded the 2022 air transportation industry averages reported by the U.S. Bureau of Labor
• Expanding uniform and image standards policy to all Flight Attendants and Guest Service Agents, allowing these Team Members to dress in ways they feel best represent their identities
• Donating to 49 DEI&B –focused nonprofits that serve underrepresented communities through the Spirit Charitable Foundation
